I’m an Incline Village native with a passion for business and Lake Tahoe. I am the new owner of the Tahoe Gal, a long-standing waterfront business that serves thousands of visitors each season, and I bring a deep understanding of tourism patterns, visitor experience, and the needs of local operators. In my professional career as an investor I manage a large, complex investment portfolio where I focus on long-term strategy, financial stewardship, and partnership-building—all skills that translate directly to effective board service. I am also passionate about Tahoe-focused community and storytelling projects and am developing a perspective on destination marketing and the evolving identity of our region.

I’m interested in serving on the TCDA Board to help strengthen year-round economic vitality, enhance the visitor experience, and support thoughtful, sustainable growth for Tahoe City. I believe in preserving what makes our community special while elevating the businesses, public spaces, and partnerships that contribute to a vibrant local economy.

I have been serving on the board for the last two years. I believe I bring a skill set and knowledge that has positively impacted our operations, and community impact. I live and am raising our child, as well as have extended family members, in this community and have a commitment to see it thrive.

Originally from Minnesota, Kendall has lived in North Lake Tahoe since 2013. She recently purchased her first home where she lives with her husband, their charismatic wolf-dog, and their new baby. Kendall is a partner and CPA at McClintock Accountancy Corporation. Outside of work, Kendall loves to spend her free time cooking, crafting, and volunteering with local non-profits. She loves calling Tahoe City home and is excited to be involved in the community by being a part of the TCDA.

I serve as the Education & Outreach Director at UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center (TERC), overseeing the Tahoe Science Center in Incline Village and the Eriksson Education Center in Tahoe City. With more than 25 years’ experience, I lead educational programs, develop interactive exhibits, coordinate regional outreach, and manage grants to support environmental science education for students and the public. I would be excited to serve on the Tahoe City Downtown Association (TCDA) board because I believe a thriving downtown benefits not only commerce but the sense of community and stewardship that defines our region. My background in environmental outreach and community-engaged education gives me a unique perspective on sustainable tourism, nature-inspired stewardship, and public engagement. I am eager to contribute to efforts that enrich local businesses, foster events, and strengthen Tahoe City as a welcoming, vibrant place to live, work, and visit.

Gail moved to Tahoe in 1973. She serves on the Tahoe City Public Utility District Board of Directors; is treasurer of the Tahoe City Recreation Association; board president for the TCDA; active member of the North Lake Tahoe Kiwanis; and committee member for July 4th Fireworks and Oktoberfest. When she isn’t volunteering, she spends time with her children and grandsons, who also live locally.

As a long-time Tahoe City resident and small business owner, I’m deeply invested in building a stable, thriving, year-round community. I bring firsthand insight into the needs of both locals and visitors, and I’m committed to supporting economic vitality, collaborative partnerships, and meaningful activation that benefits everyone who lives, works, and gathers here. Remaining on the TCDA board allows me to continue advocating for thoughtful, sustainable growth and a stronger, more connected Tahoe City.
