Alpenglow Sports is thrilled to welcome Hilaree O’Neill and her film “The Road Less Travelled.” Join us on Thursday, February 8th at 7pm at the Olympic Village Lodge at Squaw Valley for a night of pushing peaks and ski adventure, presented by davisREED Construction, Inc.

Join Professional ski mountaineer, Hilaree Nelson O’Neill, as she weaves a story about an adventure of a lifetime to an obscure peak in the remote Punjab Himalaya of India. This is an emotional journey nearly 20 years in the making to climb and ski the dramatic 21,125-foot peak known as Papsura, the Peak of Evil. On her very first expedition as a young, emerging professional skier, Hilaree saw this peak from a distance and was instantly mesmerized. In four expeditions to the same region in India, over 14 years, she was met only with failure.

Join her for the full story on Thursday, February 8th at 7pm. The show is free to attend, and raffle prizes will be auctioned off with all proceeds benefitting Tahoe Food Hub. Doors open at 6:15pm and an early arrival is encouraged in order to assure good seating. Fireside Pizza Co. will be on-hand with delicious dinner offerings to enjoy before and during the show.
