David Boye is a musician, composer, and educator from Lincoln, Nebraska. He has crisscrossed many musical paths in his 30-plus years as a bassist, guitarist, saxophonist, and songwriter. He has performed an eclectic variety of music styles in new age, rock, blues, classical and jazz groups throughout the midwest and nationally. He was accepted as an Artist In Residence at North Cascades National Park in 2008 which was the start of a personal passion of exploring and creating sounds that evoke the infinite wonders of the wilderness of the National Parks and the west. He has toured several National Parks and Monuments performing in park amphitheaters, visitor centers, marinas, and restaurants in a perfect harmonious matching of sight and sound. His expressive and haunting music framed by some of the most vivid vistas in America was a treasure for performer and listener alike.
He is preparing an even more comprehensive and ambitious tour of the western United States parklands in the summer of 2019 which will include day-long music seminars at Point Reyes National Seashore, North Cascades National Park, and the CA State Parks at Lake Tahoe.
