It still feels like summer but soon Fall will be in the air. That means scarecrow season is quickly approaching!
One of our favorite Fall events is the “Scarecrows on Parade” and we would love participation from our creative community members. Each year we enjoy the funny, scary, witty and whimsical masterpieces created by merchants and students alike and this year would like to invite our community members to join in the Harvest time fun by making a scarecrow to display in town. Let’s make locals and visitors feel how festive our mountain town is! Scarecrows and town decorations should be completed by the third week in September so now is the time to get your creativity brewing! If you want to make a scarecrow for our town, please complete and return this form.
In addition, we invite you to join us at Commons Beach on Saturday, September 28th from noon til 5:00 for the 15th annual Tahoe City Oktoberfest! We are looking for volunteers for this super FUN event. To volunteer up please use this link: https://signupschedule.com/dantana or contact Dana at [email protected].
Please join the Tahoe City Downtown Association and the community as we celebrate Fall. We look forward to your participation. If you have any questions about the scarecrows, please contact Dana at 530-386-3016 or email at [email protected]
