It’s nearly October in Tahoe City, do you know what that means? Time for the annual Scarecrows on Parade event as well as other fall favorite festivities.
We welcome our community members, schools, businesses and organizations to participate in this year’s festivities by creating a scarecrow for our “Scarecrows on Parade“ event. The scarecrows are a community favorite with locals and visitors alike. The scarecrows will be on display in town for the entire month of October.
CLICK HERE for the entry form or complete it online HERE. We can’t wait to see the creativity of our perticipants. Every year we are more amazed!
Tahoe City’s fall festivities will kick-off on Saturday October 3rd at the rustically beautiful William B. Layton Park, outside Gatekeeper’s Museum, with the 11th annual Tahoe City Oktoberfest. Other Tahoe City fall events include the ever popular Tahoe City Parks & Recreation Rideout Pumpkin Patch Festival on October 17th and the town-wide Tahoe City Halloween Trick or Treat on Halloween. Best of all, in October we hope to grace our town with scarecrows of every kind.
Please join the Tahoe City Downtown Association, and the community, as we celebrate fall. We look forward to your participation. If you have any questions about the scarecrows, please contact Jamie at TCDA (530)583-3348 or email us at [email protected].
