TCDA Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is the governing body of the TCDA and oversees the direction of the organization. TCDA Directors represent Tahoe City’s diverse industries that include retail, non-retail, restaurant businesses, professional services, financial institutions, and real estate.
The TCDA Board of Directors meets the third Wednesday of each month from September to June and all meetings are open to the public. Check the current meeting schedule here.
Gail moved to Tahoe in 1973. She is the treasurer of the Lake Tahoe Ski Club Foundation; treasurer of the Tahoe City Recreation Association; board president for the TCDA; active member of the North Lake Tahoe Kiwanis; and committee member for July 4th Fireworks and Oktoberfest. When she isn’t volunteering, she spends time with her children and grandsons, who also live locally.
Laurie has been a resident in Tahoe since 2009. She and her husband are raising their son in Tahoe City, where they run bjc-design. Their family business conducts as-built drawing services for homeowners, architects, and engineers. Laurie holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and public relations, and a master’s degree in Kinesiology, exercise physiology and biomechanics. Before starting her own business, she worked in corporate safety, specializing in industrial settings.

Originally from Minnesota, Kendall has lived in North Lake Tahoe since 2013. Kendall is the President of Tahoe City based McClintock Accountancy Corporation, a firm that has served local non-profits since 1979. Kendall also lives in the area with her husband, baby and their charismatic wolf-dog. Kendall regularly enjoys seeking out new hobbies and sports to take to a beginner/intermediary level before moving onto something new! Kendall has enjoyed utilizing her years of industry experience in her role as Treasurer of TCDA.
Lisa Boudreau is a 28-year resident of Tahoe City. She owned and operated a local business for 9 years in Truckee called Lisa’s Central Market, which gave her a good understanding of the local community. She currently manages the Tahoe City Farmer’s Market and has expanded the market to new areas. She enjoys creating and organizing events, bringing people together on common ground, and working toward a shared goal.
John Crus is a long-time resident and business owner of Tahoe Tree Company and Green Envy. He values the Tahoe community, working and playing hard to help keep the Tahoe spirit alive and well. John has a degree in Restoration Ecology, and started his local landscape company, Green Envy, Inc., in 2005. Since then, John has put significant efforts into maintaining the natural Tahoe landscape for all his clients. He sees Tahoe Tree Company as another exciting opportunity to provide Tahoe City residents’ with all of their greenery needs, large and small.
Lindsay lives in the Tahoe City, Highlands with her husband Rory and their 3 daughters. She graduated in International Studies and History from UC San Diego and studied Sustainable Business in the Green MBA program at Dominican University, San Rafael. She has worked with brands Icebreaker Merino Wool, Chrome Industries and Keen Footwear on enhancing community initiatives such as in house childcare for employees, food and beverage programs, workplace environment and events. Currently she is active in supporting art and community events at Fuerst Property in Tahoe City She is passionate about local initiatives that help enhance the wellbeing of our community for future generations to come.
Though John grew up in Daytona Beach, Florida, he spent much of his childhood visiting family in South Lake Tahoe, where he learned to ski and developed a long-standing connection to the area. Tahoe was always the place he hoped to call home. In 2011, John moved to Tahoe City to be closer to his future wife, who was already rooted in the community. A few years later, they spent time on the East Coast building a healthcare company in Philadelphia, but Tahoe continued to draw them back. Eventually, they returned and took ownership of Tahoe Dave’s Skis & Boards, combining their professional experience with their commitment to the region. John and his family now live in Truckee, where they’re raising their 12-year-old daughter. John serves on the NTCA – BACAC committee, as well as the NTCA TBID Advisory Board.
Robb has been in business in Tahoe since 2006 and applies his passion for art and creative problem solving in bringing a unique and unparalleled perspective to his clients and work. His multidisciplinary collective, Land to Living, offers professional services in architecture, construction, interiors, real estate, and art to create thoughtful homes and lifestyle projects. He and his wife, Molly, are raising three children in Tahoe City and both are active in the community on many fronts.
Wendy moved to Tahoe City in 1996 and started working locally through the publishing channels of The Tahoe World and Tahoe Quarterly Magazine. She switched gears to her real estate career in 1998 and is now an associate broker helping both locals and second home owners with their real estate needs. She works in both California and Nevada and serves as a director on the Incline Village Board of Realtors. She lives in Tahoe City and serves on the volunteer board of Tahoe Snowfest and the TCDA task force volunteering for various events promoted by the TCDA. She and her husband Tim enjoy time in the outdoors and can be seen on the water or on the trails … often with their dog Betty.
Heather serves as the Education & Outreach Director at UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center (TERC), overseeing the Tahoe Science Center in Incline Village and the Eriksson Education Center in Tahoe City. With more than 25 years’ experience, she leads educational programs, develops interactive exhibits, coordinates regional outreach, and manages grants to support environmental science education for students and the public. She is excited to serve on the TCDA board because she believes a thriving downtown benefits not only commerce but the sense of community and stewardship that defines our region. Her background in environmental outreach and community-engaged education gives her a unique perspective on sustainable tourism, nature-inspired stewardship, and public engagement. She is eager to contribute to efforts that enrich local businesses, foster events, and strengthen Tahoe City as a welcoming, vibrant place to live, work, and visit.
