It’s mid-September and we are gearing up for fall in Tahoe City, which means scarecrow season is quickly approaching! One of our favorite annual events is “Scarecrows on Parade” and we welcome your participation. We invite your business, class, team, troop, family, and friends to get creative by making a scarecrow to be displayed in town.
Is there a pile of old clothing lying around that you don’t know what to do with? Do you have a crafty creative side that you would like to express and share? Then bring a scarecrow to life! Come up with your own unique family-friendly scarecrow or one that represents your organization, sport, or business. It can be funny, wild, wacky, silly, or ridiculous. Put your imagination to work.
Each year, we enjoy the witty, scary, and funny creations that are created by businesses, schools, and the community. Here’s your chance to make your business and our town shine! Let’s show locals and visitors how festive our mountain town is! The scarecrows and autumn decorations will go out at the end of September and be on display for the entire month of October, so now is the time to get creative!
