Mark your calendars and celebrate Earth Day with a rewarding community cleanup on Earth Day, April 23, from 2-5 p.m. Check in at California 89 in Tahoe City.
To protect the environment and our beautiful community, Keep Tahoe Blue is hosting a cleanup in partnership with the Tahoe City Downtown Association, California 89 and Tahoe Environmental Research Center.
High Elevation Gardening event
UC Davis TERC will also be hosting the first in its High Elevation Gardening series at the Earth Day Cleanup. Stop by to learn about Tahoe gardening and pick up your starter plants. Details here.

Meeting location: California 89 (formerly Willard’s) 170 North Lake Blvd, Tahoe City, CA 96145
Walk-ups welcome.
Parking: Plenty of free parking in the surrounding lots
Time: 2 pm – 5 pm
Be sure to bring:
- Full reusable water bottle
- Sunscreen
- Cleanup gloves (if you have them)
- Wear layers to protect from the cold and sun: hat, sunglasses, warm clothing and winter shoes
- Any snacks you would like
Keep Tahoe Blue will provide:
- Cleanup materials (gloves, bags, etc.)
- Gloves/hand sanitizer
- Cool giveaways from Keep Tahoe Blue and our partners
- Refreshments
