Join the Tahoe/Truckee/Reno/Carson Burning Man community in a multi-day, multi-location, socially-distanced clean-up all around Lake Tahoe and Truckee.

MOOP The Lake was inspired by the dramatic increase in trash being left in the Lake Tahoe / Truckee area due to the COVID-related increase in tourism. Around the lake people are taking the matter into their own hands by organizing cleanups. The event is supported in large part by Tahoe Burners.

As Burners, MOOPing is what we do. With the cancellation of Burning Man this year we won’t be dusting off the week after Labor Day. Lets MOOP at home this year.
