Memorial Day Weekend marks the unofficial start of summer in North Lake Tahoe, and Opening Weekend on the Lake from May 21-25 serves as the region’s signature kickoff celebration at communities across the North and West Shores — from Kings Beach to Tahoe City and down the West Shore to Alpine Meadows.
Produced by the Tahoe City Downtown Association and the Kings Beach District, the event is designed to support the local economy. Funding is provided by the TBID-TOT Dollars at Work program.
