Labor Day Weekend is going to be one to remember! Join us at the last Concerts at Commons Beach of the summer with the Blues Monsters playing from 4 pm – 7 pm. Stay after and enjoy the drone show which will happen around dusk (estimated time 8:30 pm)

Not sure what the drone show is?! It is a light show you won’t want to miss! Orchestrated to music, over 100 drones will take to the air directly over Lake Tahoe, brightening up the sky and delivering a new kind of wonder. So pack your beach chairs and enjoy some of the best viewing at Common’s Beach and along the Tahoe City Downtown Lakefront.

Coordinated by professional aerial starlight production vendor Great Lakes Drone Company, the drone light show will feature custom performances up to 15 minutes in length and choreographed to music, over Lake Tahoe, with over 100 drones taking off from and returning to shore at the conclusion of the shows. In addition, backup locations have been identified in the event that weather conditions require it.

Watch and jam to the tunes from your car, boat, spot on the beach or wherever you are by tuning your radios to 101.5FM, listening online at Truckee Tahoe Radio.com, or by downloading the free Truckee Tahoe Radio app and listening on your mobile device!

Go to Tahoe City early to enjoy convenient lake access, award-winning artists, wonderful restaurants, charming shops, and galleries.

Set to music, over 100 drones will light up the sky at 8:30pm over Commons Beach on September 4. Go to Visit Tahoe City dot org for more information

After large holiday weekends, our beaches are covered with trash, which can hurt wildlife and lake clarity. Be a part of the solution! Join other Tahoe residents and visitors and make a positive impact on the environment by removing litter from Lake Tahoe’s shores.
