We have some exciting news happening in Tahoe City! Artist duo Mr & Mrs Ferguson will be unveiling Ursa Mater (Mother Penny Bear) at Heritage Plaza on Thursday, August 2nd from 12 PM – 2 PM. This 12-foot tall sculpture of a grizzly bear and her cubs, with fur made from 200,000 pennies, will be temporarily on exhibit running August 2, 2018 – July 31, 2019.

Please note there will be temporary parking closures in front of Heritage Plaza in preparation for the installation from 6 AM August 1st – 8 AMAugust 2nd.
