Music by The Devil Makes Three, The Infamous Stringdusters and Billy Strings (two sets), plus sets by Peter Rowan, Fruition, Keller Williams and the Keels, The War and Treaty, The Lil Smokies, The Brothers Comatose, Della Mae, Larry Keel Experience, Kitchen Dwellers, Andy Falco & Travis Book (of The Infamous Stringdusters) Perform Jerry Garcia, Cris Jacobs, Trout Steak Revival, Midnight North, Town Mountain, Pickin’ on the Dead, Pixie and the Partygrass Boys, Old Salt Union, TK & The Holy Know-Nothings, Rapidgrass and Twisted Pine also join the bill, alongside special guests Lindsay Lou, Bridget Law, Will Mosheim and a collaborative WinterWonderWomen set.
Please note the Festival is March 27-29, 2020 – Friday through Sunday, but we throw a free show and paid tram to table dinner to kick things off on Thursday March 26th.

Music Brews Mountains is the foundation for the 8th annual WinterWonderGrass Festival featuring more than 20 bands and 20 local breweries over three days. WinterWonderGrass Festival is the perfect storm of world-class bluegrass, roots and acoustic artists, craft beer and libations under star-filled Sierra Nevada nights encapsulating all things California.
Each year WinterWonderGrass supports local non-profits – with a focus on environmental protection, musical education, community initiatives, and disaster relief. We donate $1 for every ticket sold to our partner NPO’s. The festival boasts a strong sustainability program diverting over 85% of festival waste from landfills. A commemorative festival mug included with each three-day festival ticket – zero single-use plastics are on site. WinterWonderGrass is a community and family-friendly event with a colorful kid’s zone including face painting, hula hooping and crafts.
Kids 12 and under and seniors 75 and older are free.
