Meet Lindsay “with an A” Romack, Tahoe Field Representative for Placer County Supervisor Jennifer Montgomery and Tahoe/Truckee local.

Lindsay Romack grew up in the Chicago suburb of Arlington Heights, Illinois, studied Broadcast Journalism at Boston University and moved to North Lake Tahoe in 2004. Lindsay followed an old love to Tahoe, but quickly fell in love with everything Tahoe.

The community probably recognizes Lindsay, and her famous voice, from her nearly ten years as host of the morning show at 101.5 FM KTKE www.truckeetahoeradio.com. Lindsay loved serving the community through independent radio, but she was offered an opportunity to serve in a new way – with Placer County. Now, with a few weeks under her belt, Lindsay looks forward to working in the trenches to address political issues she is passionate about, including housing & transportation.

Lindsay is thrilled to be back in Tahoe City again; a community filled with amazing people and Lake views on every corner. She also loves sleeping in on weekday mornings!

When not working, you can find Lindsay snowboarding, hiking, playing recreation softball (in Truckee or Tahoe City), playing music (trombone, piano, guitar, banjo), dancing to live music at Moe’s Original BBQ – Tahoe City, enjoying a tasty meal at Fat Cat Bar & Grill in Tahoe City, Ca. or cheering on her favorite sports team – the Chicago Cubs.

The next time you are in Tahoe City, stop by the second floor of the Placer County “Customs” Office to welcome Lindsay to town. We are lucky to have Lindsay on our team!
