The music
Concerts at Commons Beach features a dynamic mix of national artists and favorite local bands, including touring acts such as the Dead Winter Carpenters, the Devon Allman Band and Joshua Tree’s Gene Evaro, Jr. Head upfront next to the stage to groove with the bands, or enjoy the show from the comfort of your picnic blanket or paddleboard.

Picnics on the grass
Let’s face it, unless you spend your days golfing, grass is a rare commodity in Tahoe. Bring a picnic blanket and basket as well as a few chairs, and relax on Commons Beach’s soft green turf with family, friends and neighbors.

The food and beer
No picnic? No problem. Enjoy delicious barbecue, sandwiches and ice cream from local vendors, and wash it down with beer and wine from Lagunitas Brewing Company and Barefoot Wine and Bubbly.
