StacieFounded in 2004, the Tahoe City Downtown Association is a nonprofit organization comprised of merchants and community members working together to make Tahoe City America’s Best Mountain Town to live, work, play and visit.

TCDA works hard behind the scenes, executing popular local events like Concerts at Commons Beach, July 4th Fireworks and the Tahoe City Wine Walk. The organization is also responsible for installing Tahoe City’s annual flower baskets and holiday lights that add to the town’s natural beauty.

Tahoe City is thriving with the recent addition of new local businesses in the past five years. However, the town needs involvement from the entire community for continued growth and success.

SUPPORT LOCAL TAHOE CITY BUSINESS

Healthy communities have healthy local economies; with people working together to help each other make a living and thrive. By shopping local, the community keeps dollars local, reduces carbon footprints, preserves local character and supports friends and neighbors. With so many amazing artisans, shops and businesses, it is easy to shop local in Tahoe City.

HAVE FUN AT TAHOE CITY EVENTS

The fun never stops in Tahoe City! TCDA hosts over 20 annual events that showcase the natural treasures and incredible experiences available in Tahoe City. Dance to the free music at Concerts at Commons Beach or stroll through downtown Tahoe City during Summer Sidewalk Saturdays. Come fall, bring the whole family (and dogs) to the rustic grounds of Layton Park at the Tahoe City Oktoberfest on October 1.
