Tahoe City is Open, welcome back!

Placer County has now entered Phase 3 of California’s Resilience Roadmap. Additional businesses that may now reopen include hotels and short-term rentals for tourism; campgrounds, outdoor recreation; gyms and fitness centers, movie theaters, and more. Previous sectors allowed to reopen include shopping centers and in-store retail, dine-in restaurants, and office-based businesses.

As businesses reopen and adapt their operations to meet the necessary safety requirements to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus, many will have different hours than normal or be closed while making their required modifications.  We have taken down the list of open businesses that used to be on this page and suggest you contact your favorite businesses directly for details about their operations.

We are excited to welcome you back to Tahoe City!  As we continue to navigate this unprecedented time together, our top priority is the health and safety of residents and visitors to Tahoe City.  We encourage visitors to read the Know Before You Go guide created by our partners at the North Lake Tahoe Resort Association.
