Autumn is one of our favorite times of year in Tahoe City:

The changing of the seasons brings an excitement and anticipation of what’s to come –  looking ahead to the winter wonderland that will soon fill us with delight, as well as the joy of reflecting back on a sublime summer of paddling, swimming, boating, and all things “lake”.  Take in the sights and smells of autumn in town and around – the brilliant autumn hues, the solitude of a hike in Desolation Wilderness…that chill in the air.  Autumn is fleeting, so take it all in while you can!

Be sure to check out the Downtown Trick or Treat on Thursday, October 31st from 4:00-6:00 pm.  It’s a fun, safe and free place for families to trick or treat and enjoy a Tahoe City Halloween; and don’t miss Tahoe City’s annual “Scarecrows on Parade”
