Spend the day soaking in lake views, live music, family fun, and delicious food, all capped by a breathtaking fireworks show over Lake Tahoe. Whether you’re a local or visiting for the holiday, there’s no better place to celebrate Independence Day than right here in the heart of Tahoe City.

  • Stop by TCDA’s booths at Heritage Plaza and North Tahoe Arts from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. for commemorative T-shirts and hats, along with patriotic gear, glow sticks and more. More celebrations during the day at Tahoe Tap Haus and Evo Tahoe. 

  • Live Music from local bands and DJs to keep the energy high in the evening.

  • Food & Beverage Vendors serving up local bites and drinks

  • Kid-Friendly Activities for families to enjoy together

  • FREE Fireworks Show over Lake Tahoe at 9:30 p.m. — a local favorite tradition

🚍 New for 2025: Free Shuttle Service!
Getting to and from the event is easier than ever with free shuttles running from Olympic Valley, West Shore, Kings Beach, and Northstar between 4–11:30 PM. Thanks to support from Palisades Tahoe and TOT-TBID Dollars at Work, you can leave the car behind and enjoy the evening stress-free. Just remember to dress warm — it gets chilly once the sun goes down!
