The Tahoe City Downtown Association is asking for help this month from locals and visitors by voting in support of it’s popular summer free concert series, ‘Concerts at Commons Beach’.  Supporters and fans of the concert series are being asked to vote in an online survey tied to an application for a $25,000 grant to help fund improvements and operation of the concerts.

Concerts at Commons Beach has applied for a $25K Levitt AMP Matching Funds Grant for Tahoe City’s FREE 12-week summer music series and needs public support via votes to reach the top 25 finalists. This funding will help enhance & sustain the popular music series and bring positive national exposure to Tahoe City.

The voting only takes 2-3 minutes, and can be completed at: https://grant.levittamp.org/voter-registration-page/. Once registered, voters will receive a confirmation email after they register to vote, and then use this email to log back in and vote for Tahoe City. Online voting will continue through Nov. 30, 2015.

After public voting determines the Top 25 finalists, Levitt Pavilions will then select the 15 winning Levitt AMP grant recipients. Proposals which have strong community support, as displayed by number of votes received, will be more competitive during the final selection process.

Tahoe City Concerts is calling out for public support from the thousands of people who attend the Concerts at Commons Beach every summer. For more information about the Tahoe City Downtown Association, visit www.visittahoecity.com.
