Volunteers needed for Tahoe City Clean-Up Day

If you want to help keep our lake and community clean, then our Annual Tahoe City Clean-Up Day is for you! A great way to start your Saturday and give back to your community: volunteers will pick up trash along the bike path in Tahoe City. Coffee, snacks, and lunch will be provided. This opportunity can be used as part of a community service project.

Saturday | June 3, 2018 | 8:30am – 12:00pm

Part of the Tahoe Bike Challenge: Pedal there and receive a raffle ticket for a fabulous prize!

Simply RSVP to dana@visittahoecity.com, show up at Commons Beach at 8:30am for coffee and treats, and then we’ll clean up trash along designated routes throughout Tahoe City to make our town sparkle! After cleaning up, we’ll meet back at Commons Beach to sort and weigh the trash we’ve collected (you’ll be amazed what we find!) And then of course we’ll need to celebrate with lunch! You’ll be finished by noon and you’ll have the rest of the weekend to enjoy our newly pristine town.

Gloves and trash bags will be provided. Just bring your re-usable water bottle, wear comfortable walking shoes, and wear sunscreen. Each volunteer will receive a cool prize and those who pedal, walk, or carpool will be entered into a raffle for more prizes!
