Cue the fireworks and celebrate the red, white and blue in North Lake Tahoe

Celebrating the Star-Spangled Banner in North Lake Tahoe and enjoying the fireworks show on the third and Fourth of July just got a whole lot easier with new park and ride services. This service is being made possible through a partnership with Placer County, Northstar California, and the Tahoe Biltmore.

For the first time, you can forget the parking hassles when enjoying the fireworks show in Kings Beach on July 3 and Tahoe City on July 4, when you leave the car behind and utilize the new park and ride service. Park and ride facilities are in addition to thirty-minute bus services that will be provided from Truckee, Crystal Bay and Tahoe City.

On July 3 service will be provided to Kings Beach (North Tahoe Events Center – Hwy. 28 TART Stop) from the Tahoe City Transit Center with TART service operating every thirty-minutes between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. then hourly until 2 a.m. In addition, service will also be provided from the Northstar – lower parking lot with bus service every thirty-minutes between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m.

On July 4 service will be provided to Tahoe City (Swigards- Tahoe City “Y” TART stop) from the Tahoe Biltmore – lower parking lot with TART service operating every thirty-minutes between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. then hourly until 1 a.m. from the Crystal Bay TART bus shelter. In addition, service will also be provided from the Northstar – lower parking lot with bus service every thirty-minutes between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m.

Come join us for all that North Lake Tahoe has to offer on the Fourth of July and help us create a spark when you think local and ride the bus!
