As one of the finest ski manufacturers in the industry, DPS Skis knows the value of not only top notch equipment but also bringing the stoke to each ski season. This film series accomplishes just that, and is guaranteed to leave you itching for a powder day. Members of the DPS crew ventured to Kyrgyzstan, Japan, and Alaska to film four shorts that comprise the fourth volume of DPS Cinematic’s The Shadow Campaign. Partnering with Outdoor Research, crewmembers were sent across the globe to find the stunning scenery and epic turns that make The Shadow Campaign a truly unique viewing experience. “The stories that our filmmakers…tell while exploring these locations will once again get skiers stoked for the upcoming season,” says DPS Cinematic executive producer, Dan Benshoff.
DPS Skis headquarters are nestled at the base of the Wasatch Mountains in Salt Lake City, Utah. DPS designs the worlds most advanced skis using space-ago carbon technology and groundbreaking shapes. The Shadow Campaign gives you a chance to see these world-class skis in action. The films beautifully connect humanity to the stunning imagery and inspired sport involved in experiencing these wild spaces. The filmmakers know not only how to capture an aesthetically beautiful shot, but also how to honor the heart and spirit of backcountry skiing through imagery, music, and dialogue.
