On August 18, Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) is comin’ in hot for the 14th Annual Skate the Lake, a 28-mile longboarding marathon that promotes an active lifestyle while raising funds for Boarding For Breast Cancer (B4BC)’s prevention and survivorship programs! Come out and longboard, bike, blade, or rollerskate with B4BC. Whether or not you’re able to join us for the skate, be sure to join us for a community gathering kick-off party at Commons Beach on Friday, August 17!
Tahoe’s biggest skate and longboard event runs along a 28-mile portion of the beautiful Lake Tahoe. The event attracts skaters (bikers/scooters/riders) young and old, of all abilities to push for the cause.
**NEW THIS YEAR SQUAW VALLEY DROP IN**
28 miles may be a little much for some participants so this year we’ve added a drop in at the final hydration station at Squaw Valley. This drop will be an easy, breezy 7-mile stroll back to the finish line at Commons Beach.
Please help us reach our goal of raising $30,000 for B4BC’s education, prevention, and thriver support programs.
ALL SKATERS // MUST raise $50 to participate through online and/or in person fundraising — receive Skate the Lake t-shirt and (2) kick-off party raffle tickets
