Please join the hybrid Eastern Placer Evacuation and Emergency Preparedness Town Hall on Thursday, August 17th at 6:00 pm at North Lake Tahoe Event Center.
Sheriff Wayne Woo, CAL FIRE Chief Brian Estes, and the Placer County Emergency Management team will provide an overview of emergency preparedness efforts in eastern Placer County including wildfire history, information on evacuation procedures, an incident scenario demonstration, and general emergency preparedness resources and practices for residents and visitors. The Town Hall will conclude with a question and answer session virtually and in person following the presentation.
CAL FIRE, PCSO, Placer County OES, Placer County Water Agency, and Liberty Utilities will also have tables with additional resources for attendees.
