TCDA Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is the governing body of the TCDA and oversees the direction of the organization. TCDA Directors represent Tahoe City’s diverse industries that include retail, non-retail, restaurant businesses, professional services, financial institutions, and real estate.
Robb OlsonPresident
Robb has been in business in Tahoe since 2006. He and his wife, Molly, are raising three children in Tahoe City, where they recently opened Olson-Olson Ena in the Boatworks Mall in 2016. Robb holds two Bachelors Degrees in Architecture and Fine Arts from USC. He serves as a board member of the TCDA and the Bear Creek Association, and is a member of the American Institute of Architecture, Contractors Association Truckee-Tahoe, and Tahoe Sierra Board of Realtors.
Jennifer SchallerVice President
Jennifer has been living and working in the North Lake Tahoe region since 2009. Raised in the Sacramento area, she grew up coming to her family’s cabin in Olympic Valley since the early 1980s. Jennifer has been a practicing attorney for the last 12 years with a focus on trusts and estates. She is a partner at MOBO Law, which has several offices throughout California and Northern Nevada and actively serves clients throughout the Tahoe area. She currently serves on the board of Kiwanis Club of North Lake Tahoe and enjoys volunteering at Kiwanis and other local events.
Gail ScovilleSecretary
Gail moved to Tahoe in 1973. She is the treasurer of the Lake Tahoe Ski Club Foundation; treasurer of the Tahoe City Recreation Association; board member for the TCDA, Tahoe City Golf Club, and Snowfest; active member of the North Lake Tahoe Kiwanis; and committee member for July 4th Fireworks and Oktoberfest. When she isn’t volunteering, she spends time with her children and grandsons who also live locally.
Katherine HillPresident Emeritus
Katherine has had a passion for the Tahoe community since she

Kendall GalkaTreasurer
Originally from Minnesota, Kendall has lived in North Lake Tahoe since 2013. She recently purchased her first home where she lives with her husband and their charismatic wolf-dog. Kendall is a partner and CPA at McClintock Accountancy Corporation. Outside of work, Kendall loves to spend her free time being creative, whether it be cooking, crafting, or volunteering with local non-profits. Kendall loves calling Tahoe City home and is excited to get more involved in the community by being a part of the Tahoe City Downtown Association.
Laurie Climenhaga Board Member
Laurie has been a resident in Tahoe since 2009. She lived here in the 90’s out of college, before going back to the bay for her master’s degree. She knew then Tahoe would always be her home. She and her husband are raising their son in Tahoe city who attends TTUSD. They have a family business, BJC-design, that conducts As-built drawing services for homeowners, architects, and engineers. It was established in 2012, in the bay area, but over the last several years, they have been moving the business to the Tahoe basin. Laurie holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations and a master’s degree in Kinesiology, exercise physiology and biomechanics. She worked on corporate safety specializing in industrial settings. In her tenure she developed and implemented numerous programs and worked with multiple agencies to make positive changes. She and her husband share a passion for the lake and believe in an inclusive community where everyone thrives.
Melissa SiigBoard Member
Melissa has lived in the Alpine Meadows/Tahoe City area for 14 years. She and her husband Steven (“Siig”) opened the Tahoe Art Haus & Cinema at the Cobblestone Center in 2014. She and Siig have three children who attend schools in the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District and they are BIG believers of bringing the community together.

Lindsay FuerstBoard Member
Lindsay lives in the Tahoe City, Highlands with her husband Rory and their 3 daughters. She graduated in International Studies and History from UC San Diego and studied Sustainable Business in the Green MBA program at Dominican University, San Rafael. She has worked with brands Icebreaker Merino Wool, Chrome Industries and Keen Footwear on enhancing community initiatives such as in house childcare for employees, food and beverage programs, workplace environment and events. Currently she is active in supporting art and community events at Fuerst Property in Tahoe City She is passionate about local initiatives that help enhance the wellbeing of our community for future generations to come.

Originally from Reno, Summer has spent almost a decade embracing the beauty of the Tahoe area. You can usually find her out and about, hiking, mountain biking, or having a blast with lake activities.
