Tahoe Public Art, in collaboration with the Tahoe Public Utility District (TCPUD), is pleased to release their current Call to Artists, inviting proposals for art to be placed on a large metal pipe spanning the Truckee River in Tahoe City. The Truckee River is the only outlet of Lake Tahoe.
The Tahoe region draws more than 3.5 million visitors each year, many of whom enjoy the Truckee River from its banks or by floating the first few miles out of Lake Tahoe. It is a unique setting for public art to create a meaningful experience for people.
