In Kahootz was born just a short year ago when Kristina happened to take an Uber ride driven by drummer, John McCollum. They started talking music and eventually formed a trio, joined by Lowell Wilson. With John’s rock and roll history, Lowell’s love of New Orleans style piano, and Kristina’s musical theater background, they were able to create a unique sound that struck Tahoe earlier this year. As fate would have it, Jacob Melvoin returned from college where he studied guitar with a focus in classical and flamenco styles. Jacob’s talent filled the piece In Kahootz was missing and they are all excited to share some music and good vibes with the North Shore this weekend!
