North Tahoe Arts is excited to host the North Lake Tahoe Plein Air Open again this year! Artists of all levels from all over the country will gather in North Lake Tahoe for the week of June 12-16, 2018 to paint the breathtaking scenery of North Lake Tahoe “en plein air,” in the open air.
The Corison Gallery at North Tahoe Arts will have an exhibit featuring the works of these artists that is free and open to the public over the five days.
2018 EVENT SCHEDULE
Tuesday, June 12
- Champagne Reception (all are welcome!) & Registration
Artists arrive and register, canvas stamping, and 2 paintings for the event-long exhibit in the Corison Gallery at North Tahoe Arts. Refreshments will be served. - Artist Connect
Informal meet-up at Gatekeepers to paint and meet - 1pm-5pm

Farmers Market Quick-Draw Competition @Commons Beach
Come watch the artists create a new painting on the spot in only 2 hours! Quick Draw winner will be announced at 11am. Paintings will then be on display for the judges to award prizes and for the public to view. Other organized activities for the artists include two morning paint-outs and painting demonstration. - Artists free to paint around Lake Tahoe/Truckee.
