The Tahoe Transportation District (TTD), in collaboration with the ONE TAHOE project delivery team will share the results of its tier-one and tier-two screening process to identify potential solutions to address the shortfall in financial resources needed to realize the long-awaited transportation system envisioned in community plans.

Based on input from the public, elected officials, and agency staff, 27 ideas related to funding mechanisms have been evaluated. Of those, the below 5 have made it through the tier-two screening process.

1. Cordon-based entry fee
2. Vehicle miles traveled (VMT) fee
3. Tolling
4. Zoned transportation user fee, and
5. Vacancy tax
