Boatworks at Lake Tahoe has commissioned artwork called Sledflakes in collaboration with local artist Mark Salinas and the Tahoe Fund. Made from discarded sled pieces found on sled hills in Tahoe, Sledflakes supports the regional Take Care Tahoe initiative to reduce the number of sleds left on hills, by bringing awareness to the issue and the harmful effects of plastic on the Lake.
