Lake Tahoe Dance Collective will be streaming their inaugural presentation of “Tahoe Nutcracker,” a new production of the holiday classic that premiered in 2019.

The presentation will include special introductions and interviews with the cast reflecting on last year’s memories of taking part in the production.

The opening night of streaming takes place on December 10th, Human Rights Day, and will celebrate the diversity and equality of the production, with special guest Christopher Charles McDaniel of Dance Theater of Harlem, who appeared as the Nutcracker Prince, on the importance of diversity in the dance world.

At intermission, we’ll be joined by Pastry Chef and TV Personality Zac Young, who will share his own Nutcracker memories while sharing one of his special recipes with our dancers. Viewers can bake alongside in real-time, and your treats will be ready by the end of the show!
