For 10 years, Sierra Community House has hosted the Father Daughter Dance in the North Lake Tahoe-Truckee community. This year we are going VIRTUAL and including mothers, sons & the entire family. After a year of COVID, it’s time to dance, groove, and have some fun!
Please join us on April 24th for a VIRTUAL dance for the whole family. The dance will include a pre-recorded live DJ set by our region’s top DJ, Tracy McClain. She has put together a special play list that is fun for kids of all ages.
Why a family dance and not a traditional Father Daughter Dance?
Because it is still not safe to hold large gatherings, Sierra Community House wanted to do something virtual that was meaningful for families in our community who may be experiencing extra stress and tension. Dancing makes you feel happy; and some of that pure happiness comes from the bonding dancing promotes.
