Watching these movies will help support the Art Haus during the closure. The Art Haus receives half of all ticket sales. With the start of awards season, we will be featuring foreign film submissions to the Academy Awards and Golden Globe nominees.

COMING TO VIRTUAL CINEMA
Stray
follows three stray dogs as they embark on inconspicuous journeys through Turkish society that allow us an unvarnished portrait of human life — and their own canine culture. The disparate lives of the three dogs intersect when they each form intimate bonds with a group of young Syrians who share the streets with them. Whether they lead us into bustling streets or decrepit ruins, the gaze of these strays acts as a window into the overlooked corners of society. Opens March 3.
This is the second year we will be hosting the Women’s Adventure Film Tour virtually. The film festival is a celebration of the inspiring women around us who are doing extraordinary things in the name of adventure. The film fest will feature nine short documentaries, including Connection, a highline project organized by passionate women all around the world, and Latitude, which follows four daring young women to the 79th parallel, under 700 miles from the North Pole to rediscover themselves amidst sailing, ice mountain climbs, and ski descents. Opens March 8.

The French film Two of Us was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film. Nina and Madeleine, two retired women, have been secretly in love for decades. From everybody’s point of view, they are simply neighbors living on the top floor of their building, until the day their relationship is turned upside down by an unexpected event leading Madeleine’s daughter to slowly unveil the truth about them. Check website for opening date.
