It’s #facesoftahoecity Friday. Meet Judy Friedman, Owner of The Paper Trail & Tahoe City local.
Before moving to Tahoe City in 1972, Judy grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and San Francisco, California. Judy continued her studies at City College of San Francisco & eventually graduated in marketing from University of Nevada, Reno…via Tahoe City.
Like many locals, Judy has worked in many fields over the years, including the travel & tourism industry, as a Hebrew teacher, as Executive Director of North Lake Tahoe Snowfest! for 10 years (plus a board member for 8 years) and owner of the Paper Trail, Secretarial & Business Solutions, for 12 years.
Judy loves life at The Paper Trail because it helps her become a better-informed community member (& TCPUD board member) by working with over 25 local organizations, agencies, and non-profits. Judy loves Tahoe City because of the camaraderie of the incredible people who truly make the community great!
When not working, you can find Judy kayaking, snowshoeing, hiking, playing music with close friends (guitar & re-learning piano) & serving the public as a 2-term board member for Tahoe City Public Utility District.
Judy is thrilled to watch a new horizon for Tahoe City, a horizon that includes a new ice rink (opening Nov. 25), an expanded trail system & more exciting projects that will bring a lot of the buzz to her HOME – Tahoe City!
