Demystifying Access to Capital to Your Business, Tuesday, April 26, 8-10am (presentation ends ~9:45am) at the Tahoe City Public Utility District, 221 Fairway Drive, Tahoe City.
This workshop will walk you through the many ways that entrepreneurs can raise money to start a business… the good, the bad and the ugly! From conventional loans & lenders to new web-based crowd funding platforms, the workshop will explore successful examples from a variety of businesses and some horror stories to keep it real. We’ll walk you through the steps required to raise money for just about any type of venture. Come ready to learn about the world of capital access.
This workshop is led by Sierra Small Business Development Center expert Kristin York. All participants will have the opportunity to learn about FREE follow-up counseling after the workshop!
