North Lake Tahoe is seeking ambassadors to help expand education on destination stewardship and community safety. Local business organizations and Placer County officials have launched an Ambassador Program to assist with trash clean-up, distribution of personal protection equipment (PPE) and peer-to-peer communication in an effort to establish long-term solutions among North Lake Tahoe communities.
The North Lake Tahoe Ambassador Program will support existing community clean-up days while also focusing on safety messaging to help keep businesses open. Following two free PPE distribution days where hand sanitizer, face masks and yard signs were made available to businesses and community members at no cost, there are still ample supplies to share.
Volunteer to help keep North Lake Tahoe beautiful and healthy. A new Ambassador program is looking for volunteers to help distribute masks and hand sanitizer, hand out trash bags, and pick up litter. Please share this opportunity with part-time residents and guests!
