The Tahoe City Downtown Association is dedicated to the promotion and enhancement of the Tahoe City community. Through our work and involvement in the community, we strive to make Tahoe City America’s Best Mountain Town.
The North Lake Tahoe Community has begun it's response to COVID-19. Schools are closed, agencies are closed to the public, and businesses are adjusting their operations. This is a fluid situation and the TCDA, in partnership with Placer County and the North Lake Tahoe Resort Association, is working to provide the most up to date resources for our local businesses.
One community that deserves special recognition for being a home base since the beginning of the lakeside settlements is Tahoe City. This bustling, adorable locale sits on the shores of Lake Tahoe and is the starting point for many incredible outdoor adventures. It's also home to fantastic dining opportunities, excellent locally owned stores and hopping bars that are a centerpiece in Lake Tahoe nightlife.
We are pleased to announce that this year the Tahoe City Downtown Association has taken a step toward sustainability with the help of our local utility company, Liberty Utilities. The Downtown Lighting Program has upgraded to 100% LED lights!
